OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v2.02

Main changes since version 2.01
  • fixed crash in case standard motion blur option is used.
  • New render option for standard hair&fur support added. (switched off by default)
  • Ornatrix and Hair Farm are back.
  • Fixed free camera shaking.
  • fixed error log messages for empty scene.

Do you keep on working on standard hair support?
Like adding animation and material rendering ? At the moment the implementation is not worth much.

3dsmax doesn't allow me to access hair&fur geometry by regular way, I am very limited here.

Hi Karba, i think SUV is completely right! Native max hair and fur is something you should give the highest priority for. The actual support si very limited..

P.s. maybe you should contact Autodesk and they might be of help?..

Hi Karba , when i opened octane render viewport, it crashed like that picture:( i will returned 2,01...

Hi Karba,
I noticed only tip color worked in material parameter ... Do you have access to hair and fur material parameters ??
