Crash in 2.01

I have found the reason of the crash

The reason is hair&fur exporter which Autodesk have provided me with doesn't like object motion blur properties even if you don't use hair and fur, see attachment.

I have contacted them about the issue, but unfortunately it takes ages to get any response from them.
What I can do at the moment:

make hair&fur support as a render option.
so by default it is switched off.

if you need hair&fur you need to switch it on and make sure you don't have any motion blur option in standard object/layer properties (not octane one), see attachment

I hope it is ok for most of you

My scene is completely empty and it crashes in 2015. In 2014 it just dont render, but max is still working.

Any glue how to fix that?

So you just make a new scene and it crashes?

I start 3dsMax, change to octane renderer, hit render or open preview. So no geometrie or material is added. It was working before. I have checked the displacement and hair, but I dont remember if it was with 2.0 or with 2.01. I guess I never used 2.0, I used the upgrade right after the purchase.

So you just make a new scene and it crashes?
HI Karba, I had the same problem last night on a newly opened max but not any more. It's difficult to debug when not constant :S I'm using max2014 sp3.

not sure i understand.
i dont use Hair and fur, but all my old scene crash in max2014.
what must i do please ?

Okay I went back to Octane3dsMaxSetup_2_0_7a and it works perfect...
