OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v2.01

Main changes since version 2.0a
  • vertex motion blur.
  • standard hair and fur support (no animation, no interactivity at the moment, 3ds max version must be 2013 or higher).
  • unlimited textures.
  • displacement bug fix.
  • camera focus bug fix.

As many textures as you have the VRAM for! You are no longer limited in the number of textures like 144 RGB LDR for kepler cards, 64 RGB LDR for fermi cards etc.

unlimited textures sounds like a miracle...

textures are resized as Vray rt does?

Karba: What about the speed?

On this w.e. I'll complete an apartment and I'll send you the scene that I finalized with 1.2.

Hi karba, the new versione si amazing! Hair and fur work like a charm and take away very small amount of GPU memory. The only issue i have is: very long processing geometry time before render or active shade window starts...... With 1000000 hairs it takes ages on 4770k with 32 gigs of RAM.... :(
