Depth of Field...or NOT

I can't seem to figure out (shock!) how to render without using DOF. I just want everything in the scene to be in focus, and this is an animation where the subjects and the camera move...any suggestions on how to accomplish this? Thanks!

Hi
After you set up a camera, go to the camera tab in DAZ and change "OctaneRender Aperture" to "0", this will make everything in focus when rendering with Octane.

Hm...except...it doesn't seem to want to allow me to change it...

Sorry, I'm still using v1.0 of the plugin. It seems to be working a bit differently in v1.2.
However, I was able to change "OctaneRender Aperture" to 0.
Go to the camera tab and locate "OctaneRender F/Stop" and go its settings (the small cog icon next to it) and uncheck "Use limits". Then you will be able to change the "OctaneRender Aperture" to 0 and get rid of the DoF.
There may be an easier way to do it, but I haven't played around with 1.2 too much. I've just come up with this one and it works.

I was wondering if changing "use limits" would help. Good to know. Thanks!

It seems like the lowest setting that 1.2 is allowing is 0.23??? Anyway, you should see something like the attached image for your camera settings, be sure to use the Octane Camera settings. If you still can't change the settings, it may be an issue with the fact that is an animation. Maybe using the "Get Current Camera Settings and Environment" button in the Octane Render Pane (second attached image).
If none of this works, you might try sending SiFiFunk a PM over at DAZ, he's been doing a lot with animations in Octane via the DS plugin. You can easily find him in the Carrara forums - he's always very happy to help!

If you follow what I wrote in the previous post (disable limits in "OctaneRender F/Stop") you will be able to change the "OctaneRender Aperture" to 0 (the F/Stop then changes automatically to "inf"). As far as I know this is the only way to get rid of the DoF completely (it behaves the same way as if you were rendering using DAZ perspective view without setting up a camera). The tips that livanchene gave are useful, but whatever the setting, you'll still get some, even minimal, blurring in the background.
