Hey Guys,

just something i wondered about:
startet a render and was waiting 1 min which gave me 211 samples for the whole image,
used region render of maybe 1/5 of the whole image and it took 200 samples in one minute-
?!
can someone explain that to me?

from what i know, megasamples is for the whole image, even if you select a region (this is why sometimes mg/s drop down when you choose a render region)
i bet that if you compare the noise level on those two, you will see different levels of noise.
