Now that we have decent mesh/spline import, next would be gaseous and particle solutions...

Seems like the future of Volumetrics...
OTOY have done a great job already with alembic and ORBX - Would openVDB be the best format for OTOY to integrate next? What other solutions are there for transferring this type of particle data efficiently and wide spread?

But OpenVDB? Not sure oyu can include such a thing in a commercial product?
