Speed drop in 2.0

Octane 2.0 is slower than 1.5x as you can see.
Speed drop should be about 10%-15% and this is "normal", because we have added a lot of new features. We are working hard on speed improvement but gpu programming is quite complicated and unpredictable.
Everybody, who has bigger speed drop (more than 20%, especially if it is around 40%), please send the scene to us and write your gpu configuration
[email protected]
because this is a bug, and we need to investigate why
Thank you

Thank you Karba. I hope the 10-15% is accurate. The speed losses have been cumulative over the last 3 releases. Really glad speed improvement is on the agenda.
Best,
Seeker

There might be a speed bump when using displacement maps. But tell me it ain't worth it.

I have a scene ready for testing, about 70 MB, but I don't know how to send it to you.
