It has been somewhat a long time since I used Octane. Some great new features - SSS especially.

Some tests I did today. I like how I can render out the passes (ie. normal).

I think It looks a bit too meaty, a human head does not have that much scatter. Keep going! ;)

Rikk, I see what you mean. Hopefully in the next few days I will get some reference material together and make some detailed comparisons.

nice work !

i think your biggest problem is the displacement. it is completly wrong.

Thanks visionmaster. No displacement was used here, only details added in Zbrush. I took these details out in my latest renders however.

edit: I did also change the structure of the face.. however, not good for the thread title.
