GeForce Titan Z 12288MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

i have quick question about the new GeForce Titan Z cards .
its 12 meg card do we only get 6 meg on this card? eg does octane render only see 6 meg?
any info would be great

Yes, as far as I know this is 6GB per GPU (max 6GB scene size)

it may be irrelevant either way, as i have read that the first release after octane 2.0 will include the ability to store texture maps in your system ram, rather than vram.

6 Gigs. It is just a massively overpriced two Titans Black. Which is funny, because Titans are already massively overpriced 780s (with the non crippled DP advantage noone here needs and 6 GB VRAM).

Otoy announced it was scheduled for 2.x (ie. 2.1-2.9) later this year.
