Help! render fail continuously

Hi,
i have recently downloaded the student version of octane. This is a great by the way! That being said when I render the image fails around 500 - 900 s/px (some times 1,500).. The GPU is around 60 degrees Celsius with the render fails.. Does this mean anything? I am new to this!
I have attached a screen shot below.. Is this due to my system? Am i missing something?
Note the errors is the text in the red.. (geforce gt 540M failed)
I am running the following system:
Notebook:
Asus intel(R) core i& 2670 QM CPU @ 2.2 ghz
RAM 8 gb
64 bit operating system
Geforce gt 540m cuda 2gb
Any advice would be appreciated
