Hi,

Having a small problem trying to render out a frame from a dynamic simulation scene.

It is rendering each step...have I missed something ?

LW11.6 + Octane Plugin 1.5

Have you tried "full scene reload"?
And uncheck "instance lw clone"?

Full Scene reload - yes but same results.

Where do I find the uncheck Instance LW Clone - the only thing though is that they are not instances.

Thanks heaps scratch33 - they were clones :) - would classify this as an issue though.

Yes, by default the plugin render the LW clones as Octane instances to save memory, but this doesn't work for objects with deformations or simulations. You need to disable this option in think kind of scenes. Perhaps this option should be disabled by default in Octane 2.0

Thanks for the reply Juanjo

I think instances on by default in 2 would be fine, just being aware is half the battle. When messing around with fractures clones are much easier to setup.
It just caught me offguard thats all I was expecting to see the same as the VPR, I don't use Lightwave all the much. Daz Studio with the Octane Plugin works for me too but for dynamic sim and all the other great stuff that comes with Lightwave workflow, learning it in conjunction with Octane is a must.
