I wonder if the 2.0 will come with the plugins update at the same time ?
I mean, for maya we still don't have any version (even beta) of the 1.5 version.
It would be amazing to have the new octane render but without the plugin, it is totally useless for us...

No reply here... I wonder how many users are using standalone VS plugin version ?
I mean, in the world of 3D animation and VFX post-production, the best way is to stay inside your modeling/animation software !
Don't you think, guys ?

I agree, I rarely venture into the Standalone. Though the plug-in is still quite nice, I don't really mind waiting the extra time for the new ones as long as they are done well.
