Here you see my first public Octane-Rendering. It is done with the C4D-plugin.

Grass looks excellent ... the Tree oddly flat, but maybe Trees just do in that light. I'd also give it some different leaf color to make it stand out more in an interesting fashion. I'd also bring the sun down into morning or even angles to create more depth.

Hi Voon,
you are right! The image is kind of flat. I tried to rotate the sun a bit sideways, but this tree didn´t want to show more volume

A different colour would look nice! And I would like some colorfalloff on the hills to the distance. But i don´t know how to archieve that with Octane. Some fog or something like that... but this "fog-theme" seems to be a bit too special for the start.
As i said: I am new here and this is just the beginning

Fog using Medium scattering would slow down much the render and would add much grain. the simplest solution is to render a Z depth pass and Add it over your image and adjust the transparency of the layer in Photoshop or any image editor. Nice start !

Thank you for the hint ROUBAL. I a scene like this, your solution might be the best and i will give it a try! I guess in an interiorshot i need this "real" scattering (Volumetric light through the windows etc.).

Yes, for interiors, Medium/scattering is the solution. It is also necessary for exteriors if you need "God rays".
See my post on this page about the method I use :
