Material names in node editor

Is there some way to access these? I noticed that the TonySculptor skin has names for a lot of the nodes when loaded in the standalone, making working with it a lot easier. Can we do this also in the plugin (or just rename them)?

you can rename any
external node by just clicking the name in the rightmost pane. since downloaded livedb mats are collapsed into a single node when requested from the server, the names that appear in the standalone are not accessible for the plugin (only external nodes can have individual labels)...
