Does someone know this ? I believe the devs are french.
It could be great to have this for Octane

I am not a big fan of distributed rendering. Beside the problems of confidentiality if you are a professionnal, there are other constraints. The purpose of rendering on a distant renderfarm is to get more power when you need it, and at lowest cost if possible.

With distributed rendering, if you want to get credits for your future renders, you have to share your computer. This means noise and power consumption even when you don't use it. I am not sure that after a while it costs less than a regular render farm.

For my own, I am very happy when I can finally switch off my machines !
