Pflow rendering problem!

Hey guys and girls,
I've been using Octane for a while now and have just found a problem when using pflow in 3ds max. I am making an animation where some random shapes grow over a branching mesh. The particles birth position is controlled by an animated gradient ramp and it is all setup correctly in max. When I scrub the time slider in the Octane Viewport the particles render correctly, admittedly only if I refresh the viewport once I have scrubbed the slider. The problem occurs when I send the scene for the actual render, all that is visible in the render is the branching mesh, no particles render at-all?!
The scene is only using 0.031/2.637GB. I did have this problem a few months back when trying to render a RealFlow scene I had built. Same issue exactly but for some reason that fixed itself and I never figured out what I changed to get it to render!
Anyone got any ideas please.
I'm running x3 GTX780's
Thanks
