Animations do not work properly on skin

Animation sequences works on my machine. But I have another problem with animations. The one problem I have always had whatever drivers, graphics cards and software versions!

My animations have lines and other visual problems as shown here: (no problem - first frame, but then it starts:
Image

but if I am in Poser and click the mouse (for example. on this Monroe figure) with the morphing tool active - and near the place where one of the the defect is seen, the defect disappear and Octane-Poser is starting a new accurate rendering of the subject. See here

Image

If I Fail to click the Octane-Poser program continues to make mistakes. But if i click, its ok:

I raised the issue in September last year. But there is not yet a solution - or what? PLEASE, please help.

win7, 64 gigabytes of RAM, Asus X79 motherboard render graphics card Geforce GTX690 both channels, Video Display Adapters GTX 750TI, latest drivers from Nvidia and all the latest software from OCTANE and Poser

Hi - I remember this issue, but the last PM from you read:
EUREKA!

Finally, the animation works on my machine!

The reason that it did not work is two things: a very fast graphics card combined with a very fast SSL C drive.
so I had assumed it was resolved.

Hey Paul!
Nice photo you've got on your profile!
I appreciate your response to my last post, but the joy was short and I have had much else to think about.
I've tried to install another graphics card for my monitors (GTX750TI). It did not help. I have DAZ version of Octane also and work has done me with it, but would much rather work with your module. I think the result is better renderings.

Do you in the meantime had contact with Smith about the error? I think we need to go that way. I have a new hint:
The new export opportunity I have tested. And since there was no error in Posers screen shot during export efforts. The figure - Marylin - remained intact!
I do not know the exportformat, but can I import it back into Poser and render from the .abc file that was generated. Just to give it a try.

Do you need a log file?
sincerely,
Flemming

Hi Flemming

If I report this issue to Smith Micro - they say the same thing I said to you.....how can we reproduce the issue? (and I cannot reproduce it, and neither will they be able to - so hard for them to address).

Exporting to OCS will not help you, because it will export the mesh with the vertex tear. The vertices tear is due to Poser not applying the joint control morph when the plugin moves to the next animation frame.

Some things to try:

1) Can you tell me the actual versions/builds of Poser and Nvidia drivers pls. I need the version numbers, not "latest"
2) Uninstall and the re-install Poser plus the SR's.
3) Render->Render Settings->Preview->SreeD and disable Hardware Shading and disable OpenGL Mip Maps
4) Try different figures - does the mesh tear happen with some but not others?
5) Try setting Document Style to outline
6) Turn Rendering OFF for the display adapter card (750Ti) in the plugin Device tab
7) Try setting Render Priority to Low on all cards (remember to click Apply)

Hi Paul!
I have tryed everything what you wrote. No solution:
1) Can you tell me the actual versions/builds of Poser and Nvidia drivers pls. I need the version numbers, not "latest"
poser 10.03.26510 and SR3.1 GPU driver Geforce 335.23
2) Uninstall and the re-install Poser plus the SR's.
Did that - dident work
3) Render->Render Settings->Preview->SreeD and disable Hardware Shading and disable OpenGL Mip Maps
Tryed it. No difference
4) Try different figures - does the mesh tear happen with some but not others?
Yes, Tryed V4, Dawn and Jessica
5) Try setting Document Style to outline
yes, but no different
6) Turn Rendering OFF for the display adapter card (750Ti) in the plugin Device tab
Always - i use omly 690 as renderer
7) Try setting Render Priority to Low on all cards (remember to click Apply)
Yes, no result.

But i have made a movie for you. Can you make a private line so i can send you a link?

For anyone else having this issue, pls see question 30 at http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Poser/?page_id=182 for the resolution.
