How to install the plugin (Windows):
- Download the install file, you can see that inside it there are the plugin for all Lightwave versions, the octane.dll and octane.dat files (for x32 and x64) and a custom LW menu bar file
- Copy the octane.dll and octane.dat files into you install Lightwave/bin directory
- Add the plugin from Lightwave Layout, select the plugin for your Lightwave version (10.x or 11.5 or 11.6)
- Install the custom menu bar to get access to the Octane features

How to update the plugin (Windows):
- It is like install the plugin again (copy the .dll and .dat files to the Lightwave/bin directory and add the plugin and menu bar again), but you must be sure that there aren't any octane master plugins running in the Layout before try to add the plugin again. There is a live master plugin needed to start/stop the engine that must be closed to allow plugin reinstall.
- This build uses the new Octane SDK 1.36, if you are working with Windows please be sure that you update the Octane.dat and Octane.dll files inside your Lightwave/bin folder.

How to install the plugin (OSX):
- Download the install file, you can see that inside it there is the plugin and a custom LW menu bar file
- Add the plugin from Lightwave Layout
- Install the custom menu bar to get access to the Octane features

How to update the plugin (OSX):
- It is like install the plugin again (add the plugin and menu bar again), but you must be sure that there aren't any octane master plugins running in the Layout before try to add the plugin again. There is a live master plugin needed to start/stop the engine that must be closed to allow plugin reinstall.

Juanjo, you got us across the 1.5 finish line with great aplomb. And seemingly just a couple days (or less) behind the Octane team every step of the way. Yoo da man. Thanks pal.

Thanks Juanjo !

Something is fishy with the camera mapping projection. When I look through the camera used for mapping and adjust the projected image it looks fine, but then when I take a look through another camera at that same object but from a different angle the projected image gets scaled.

Are you using the same render resolution and aspect ratio in both cameras? ... perhaps the problem is that the resolution is not the same, and plugin uses for all projections the current camera resolution.

Aha, I knew you would know the answer, I have different resolutions. This has to change, I will bitch about it in other forum sections. Thanks.

Sorry Juanjo - I have some questions.. but first, may I say that I really like your new avatar pic... Very buttoned down and casual-business-like... Yet, you have a tiny smirk - that to me, says you totally kick ass, and are completely aware of it... Nice. ;)

[1] I predicted (to the euro as it turns out, I might add) on the 2.0 thread that standalone upgrade will be 99€. And I also predicted that plugs would range from 60-80€.. Have you set a price yet?... Am I right on that one too?

[2] Have you been given an advanced copy of 2.0 build, to start getting familiar with and fiddlin' with?

[3] Can anything be done about the funkiness that happens with IPR when you have a high-res portrait (vertical) camera res? When you try to scale the IPR window, it goes full res.

Believe me, I don't know anything about upgrade costs yet, sorry. I'm already working on the new version of the plugin, I need to make some changes in the plugin architecture to update the code to the new and final Octane API, but soon I hope to show the first new features of the 2.0 plugin.

I am going to test the issue of the IPR window, I don't see this problem before.
