How do i go about fixing shadow flicker in animations?

I"ve got the camera constantly zooming up to the character and there are some shadows flickering on a building in the back. Anyone got any ideas? here's a video of it.

hm. the first thing that comes into my mind is rayepsilon. this could actually be artifacts because of a low rayepsilon and the far distant building; i'd try to turn auto-rayepsilon off (in case you have it on), put in a number as high as it doesn't create artifacts on the person in front, and see if this makes a difference...

there is a checkbox in the preferences tab to untick; if you'll notice that the rayepsilon value is coloured, then it was calculated from the camera <> object distance (typically the focus distance) - means whenever you move the current camera, the value is changed; when you untick the setting in the preferences tab, you can just enter the desired value...
