Instance Question May be Double Post

I am certain this is NOT an octane related issue... but in case any maya experts have an answer to this... I'd be grateful.
I imported an Albemic file to Maya that has some animation on a mesh. I Converted the abc file to keys and then attached the resulting animated mesh to some particles via a instanced replacement. All works well particles spit out an animate over time...
Is there a way to offset or randomize the animation so they all have animate at different times as the particles are emitted?
Many thanks
Peter
