Here is an older render that I finally managed to clean up. Learned a lot! Thanks to GabrielFX for his IES emitter texture technique.

Hi,

besides the fact that there is lamp on the head of the horse, I really like the overall tone and feeling of the image. Do you have other point of views?

cheers

Thank you! LOL, yeah the Horse Lamp is by Front Design. They do some interesting stuff.

Not happy with the other views yet, but will post when ready.

80 hours is even more!

I know, I struggled with this one. Too many tiny lights. Very heavy scene too.

Thank you!

for the amount of lights, cleaness & resolution is not that much.

Beautiful work! the only c&c I'd have would be - when You duplicate an object, like a vase - don't rotate it 180.. ~90 fits better & not so obvious that object is a duplicate =) learned this in a hard way long time ago, when client asked to rerender something because of this reason =DDD..

Hey Tom,

I agree with you about the vases. However, the tulips lean to one side, when I went 90 degrees, there was a major bare spot. Instead of fixing it...well, I just hit render.

You've just discovered my laziness....

O

Hi Olitech,

I'm coming in late on this one, I know, been slammed this year. This is BEAUTIFUL! I've spent quite a while just staring at this, there is so much to look at. All of the colors play so nicely together, and the mood is just perfect for this type of setting. This is a very rich piece, I love it. Did you do this for a client or personal?

Hey man, glad you like.

It started out for a client, but then became a 'director's cut' personal rendering. This client became a nightmare, so now this is part of my private collection. =)

Thanks!!!
