Might sound silly, but... how do I load an alembic file into Octane? I´m now using the 1.33 version, and I can´t find how to do that. Can someone enlighten me?

In the node editor rightclick -> Geometry ->Scene.
Now you can select the .abc file to open.

Ook, cool.

Sorry to bother with this, but... then what? Can you show me the basic procedure to have the animation working. What I want to load is a flying camera from a Modo scene. I can´t find any info on how to make it.

Make your animation in Modo, save the scene with File -> Export As...
Change the type to Alembic Format, setup a filename and hit save.
Import it in Octane like above, create a render target with rightclick in the node window and connect the corresponding in/outputs together.
You can also connect materials in the alembic node.

To render the animation, select the render target, use Script -> Render Imported Animation.
Setup what you want and hit "Start"
This will render the animation and export it as png image sequence.

Awesome! Now I can start testing it. One more thing: I managed to make an animated scene work, but when applying materials, I cannot get the emitters to work. What am I missing?
