Hey all, its been a while. This is a WIP until I get a video card with more VRAM. Currently I do not have enough memory to draw the proper hair geo. So while I wait to make the upgrade any critiques would be welcome.
P.S. I am using my LiveDB tonysculptor skin shader.

I hope you don't mind but did a quick CC in photoshop to help illustrate:

• - Push the lighting and contrast further than the movie as if he were under an intense spotlight. Stylize it to the point where there's a glint from his eyeglass frames and even the white shirt has a bit of a glow due to the light. Blow out the highlights where needed.
  
  - His skin could be more pale almost pasty. Adding a few blemishes would help to make it look less CG.
  
  - The pupils of his eyes and the lenses of his eyeglasses have no visible highlights.
  
  - Perhaps use the halo from the spot light to frame Napolean.

Off set the vignette to so that it matches spotlight/looks more interesting:

I noticed the lack of eye highlights, too. Other than that, pretty mind-blowing. I agree with the others about the stage light effect if that is the intention (since there IS a stage curtain behind him). But even without that effect, incredible.

Here's an update. I moved away from the idea of the stage and just went with portrait lighting. The last thing I need to do is get the final hair in, but I think its close to done.

Cool, the eyes are looking better in the last one, but they could use some further tweaking I think. But I just wanna say that the skin in the first picture you posted looks a bit better, more lively and shows more of the texture of it. This one looks like he's a bit sick (maybe something in between would be good for him). But anyway, it looks like it's going really well, nicely sculpted btw really looks like him.
