I have a small activation problem on my machine...

I used Octane about 1 hour ago and after the rendering i closed my PC. I had to make a new rendering now and i powered on again my computer. In the mean time i changed the location of the Broadband (mobile sim) connection from a USB port to another USB port. But the Octane is now asking for a new authentication. Attached is a screenshot.

I had to go to octane live account on the website and to deactivate my license. And after i waited about 10 minutes the program could start.

A few weeks ago i changed the primary GPU from BIOS and i got the same problem.

This is a drawback ...

Hi, this is a security system of Octane, not a bug.
If you change any hardware setup Octane think you are on a different PC.

I know that is a security feature, but it seams kind of silly from this "feature" to ask me to authenticate again if i change the location of the mobile Internet connection from a usb port to another.
In case you did not understood ... the same machine, the same gpu, the same web connection, only the usb port was different. I changed that port when the PC was off. And it asked me to authenticate even before the connection was established (this means that the internet conn. was off). And as i know, if you're having a activated license and you're not having a active connection, the software still works.

And if i go by the "change any hardware setup" logic ... this means that if i'll add a new usb device, or ram stick, or another gpu, i have the re-authenticate? Not good.

In my opinion the license is tied to the PC until i'll release it from the live account menu in the Octane website.

And by the way ... i am currently using the license on 2 machines - work and home, so i deactivated / activated for about 100 times until now.

I do not need an answer/solution to my "problem". It is working now. I just wanted to make the developers aware of this.
