Could this be somewhat Buggy? I had it working once ... the "Get Item" button at a material preview actually created a material in blender. Now I have opened an old model of mine and wanted to try out a few materials on it ... but they seem not to load after "Get Item". Instead, it Kind of nullifies the material I have currently selecte in Blenders material list.... I end up with an empty material with only a Material Output node.

- Do you see the progress bar when the material is downloading?
- Are nodes activated for current graph?
- Is internet connection OK?
- Perhaps some more details or screenshots?..

Hm, I have one viewport on LiveDB, and it Shows the materials. I click on "Get item", and I get to see a small "Get LDB Material" Progressbar in the viewpoerts menubar. It Displays Progress always initially at say 5%ish ..... it does that for a few seconds, nothing happens, no Progress, then it vanishes ... and the material does not appear in my blender materials list.



This Picture shows:

- Progressbar stuck at initialy value before vanishing at the top in black writ
- Resulting empty material on the right (it had been a working blender cycles material before hitting the "get item" button)

And my internet is working fine, can use the web, IRC and other things.

Addendum: I had a VPN to another machine up when trying this. The VPN works for everything so far: wwww,mail,ftp,games,torrents... But not LiveDB it seems. Once the VPN was disabled and it would use the local machines network directly for internet, it worked again.
