GPU Memory Readout

I just installed two GTX 780 cards & the very latest nvidia drivers. Octane viewport tells me i have 1.878Gb memory. (when rendering in current scene it shows Mem: 1.252/1.878GB) Why is it not seeing all the available memory ? Is this just a readout glitch, or is it actually losing memory ? Both cards have 3Gb each. If i open up the Standalone & open preferences, it correctly states 3Gb on each card.....
My other rig correctly shows memory. This one (newer cards) doesnt

Hi,
Are you using one of these cards for the display? Windows and other software will use some VRAM so there is less free for octane.
If you are on windows 7 try turning off windows aero, also make sure you close anything else that you think might be using VRAM.

Thanks
Chris.

...that might have something to do with it. It would be better if Octane could give us an individual reading for each card. Anyhow, according to GPUZ, one card has total memory usage of 2206 Mb & the other card has a total usage of 1314 Mb. One would assume the first reading is for the card that is also the display card. On my other rig, its now telling me that Octane is using 1.331 Gb / 1.708 Gb. That rig has a card with 4Gb running the display & also working with Octane at the moment (alongside two other dedicated cards). Does Octane always show the stats of the card that is also the display card ?

As I understand.. it should show you the maximum mem size available. If you use 2 cards, then maximum you can use is the one with less mem available.
