Well, i can inly hope that thread is monitored by developers...
So, shat is want is the portals which can work as light intensity multiplier.
That's the way it is in Redshift, and it seems pretty convinient - you can light large interiors (i had some projects with large warehouses) without going crazy on power slider in HDRI environment.
The interior will be lit as user wants, and exterior details will be visible as well.
It's cool, i guess
Which feature do you need the most?

Yes please, if it's possible RX 6000 series support would be amazing. Despite not having an NVLink equivalent feature the 6900XT has a lot of potential given its price point, VRAM, and speculated compute capabilities.
Fast and realistic caustics !

In octane standalone it would be nice to have :
- a second viewer with an opengl/hydra preview of the scene
- have better gobal transform / manipulator tool with more pivot orient/center option when you move objects in your scene
It would dramatically help when you want to place your lights in the scene and be able to look at how your lights change in the rendering camera.

In the octane standalone alembic loader, please add an option to let the user choose the method to sort the geometry contained in an alembic file :
- sort by geometry shape name
- sort by face set name
That would allow users to choose to expose the input pin material of the alembic base on object name OR on shader assignation.
