Weird shaded triangles and faces when rendering

Hey everyone so I'm having this really frustrating problem with my model that I made in Revit Architecture by Autodesk.
Here is what I did:
Made the model in Revit then I exported an FBX and imported that into 3ds max using the "link FBX" button from the import drop down.
I've done this about a half a dozen times and I never get this problem.
When I render and orbit around the scene these weird triangles keep appearing and dissapearing. (I've posted 2 images of what this insanity looks like)
I haven't changed the version of 3ds max or Revit for a while. I've been working with version 2014 for the both of them and I haven't had this problem until today.
I don't know if anyone can help but it would be pretty awesome if someone has had this issue and been able to resolve it.
One last thing. The geometry has nothing to do with the triangles that are shown. If I didn't render I would never know that the model looked like this.
