Part of a video loop I'm working on. What you see here is only the foundation, I will add more to the scene.
Lots of energy loss around the edges, not sure why - it's 2.5M polys. Rendered in 90 minutes to 13000 samples.

I also played with materials & emitters and got this:

The second one is so abstract and looks great!

neat work..I like the second image result too...
