How to make Toon Shader ?

Just want to tell that the blender plug in work just fine,

- The DolFIN project
I hope that Octane render will have a toon shader... or something similar.. Sometimes I dont need it to be realistic but I love the way of unbiased render !!
Now rendering have fun again

You could try playing with the dirt texture and in combination with falloff you might get a pretty good toon shader. This will really slow your renders down though.

I suggest you create a diffuse material with a mix texture in the diffuse slot. Mix white and black with a dirt texture (invert the dirt so the edges get black and play with other settings to get sharp outlines). Then apply the material to all of your meshes (make sure to make a copy of your scene first) and render (you can use DL). Then render your original scene with all you fancy materials. Now you can just compose the two output files by using the "multiply" overlay type for the drit pass in Photoshop.
