certain bitmap formats produce more noise?

Hi,

again I've got a problem!

For a longer animation I reduce "Max Samples" in Direct Lightning (GI-Ambient-Occl)
to 400 and thats fine so far! (the slightly noise I get from this low settings
does not bother, because I get rid with some noise reduction plugins in AE)

But a few objects with tiff image aplied (octane image texture) are
getting extreme noisy compared to the rest. And I can not figuere out why.
So is there maybe a difference within different image fomats jgep, png, tiff etc... ?

regards
Mike

sorry - got it!

Was not the texture. It was a light in front of these objects.
I missed that there is also a sample-rate setting.

thanks
Mike

btw. is there a common rule setting for "sample rate" in
lights and emission textures?
