Please let me know what you think! I know I need to add something out the windows on the first, but I am horrible with photoshop, so that is for another day. Please give me your best (or worst, as the case may be), I am trying to improve!

Hey first good renders=)
and second one: i'm not a pro so i just can say what i see and not how to improve the quality:D...
but in the first picture it seems to me like the shadow of the glass is missing but i'm not sure. did you use the daylight environment or an hdri??
the second picture the oranges need some work on the bumpmap and the colour but i think that is a very difficult thing..
the last two pictures look really great especially the last one...just the carpet could need some improvements...
but they're already looking very well
so have a nice day
sven

First off thanks

Secondly...

As for the shadows, that's sort of all built into the renderer. The shadow is there, it's just quite long, so you can't see much of it I think.

You're right about the texture on the oranges. I turned down the normal bump, and increased the roughness to make them seem smoother and softer.

I think what happened with the carpet is that I changed the texture on it at the last minute, but didn't remap the UVs, so I think the mesh is only using a quarter of the image, and so, it's just a bit low res, relative to the frame. Will update when I get back to my computer with a good gfx card.

Thanks, keep 'em coming.

I really like the composition of the sceen and the lighting effects in general of the last render. Did you create the model or geometry yourself? I was impressed with the level of detail of the woodwork in the model, very nice.

I have only played with octane a little so far due to my 8500 card being so slow. It would be helpful to me if you could post more about your settings and how long it took to render. What verision are you using?

I am shopping for a new card now so I can get in the game. I appreciate seeing your work, quite inspiring.

Stunning renders! I have no complaint on the oranges. That's what I thought they looked like, at least here in Australia :P
The flower is stunning, and the last picture is great.
The wine glass shadow goes out of the picture, but you can still see the stem of it.
