Hey, very nice!
I played Starcraft 1, back in the days... more of a Warcraft fan, myself...
You should really make it hi-poly, add some new materials (the suit is too shiny, imo) & better textures, because this is really a nice piece. Maybe rig it and do some basic poses...?

erm... i don`t know anything about rigging. i`ll do this model high poly in the next days. i`m a hardcore archicad user

i use sketchup for quick modeling
3dsmax, maya, modo, blender are a mistery to me

Ok, I don't know sketchup, but if it has modifiers that subdivide the mesh, you can make the armor smoother very quickly, without too much manual work.
You will have to better map your textures, too - for example, where the armor is scratched the glossy roughness should be high, darker areas should reflect less, etc...

I posted something on another thread, and for some strange reason it ended up here. I have no idea how. I freaked out when I saw my post here, since I haven't even looked at this thread yet.
Anyway, I've edited this post now. It's easy to put it into Blender, click on the spanner on the right, click on the drop down, and select subdivision surface. That's all there is to it

@Chris
yep, it is from sc2. i found a plugin for 3dsmax that imports m3 models exported from sc2editor...
i did this just to see to see the models outside sc2 with no intention of selling or make a profit out of them.

I think you'd be hard pressed to NOT find people who haven't played Starcraft =P
Looks cool, and and reallly shiny. A bit plasticky though.
