Remove the walls outside your camera FOV

Sorry, I didnt explain well.
I know what an HDRI is and Octane does have this feature.

do you just want them to give you an HDRI of an indoor room?
you can find an HDRI like this online and use it. HDRI Labs has a lot of free HDRIs.

I have several I use for "indoor" scenes and dont use any lights, except sometimes a key light for more lighting control.
Ill just use one wall behind what I'm rendering.

And of course you can make your own wonderful custom (for any given scene/situation) HDRI with the spherical camera now...

all what should happeni in real life if Your cube is closed, and the light will not penetrate through materials - then you should get dark picture. if You have openings, like doors, windows or simply open walls' youll get pretty much most realistic lighting, depending of course on Your chosen HDR.

overall.. simply make wall, flor, and ceilings.. find a proper environment and be happy with way faster rendering speed..don't model entire environment, 'cos will influence rendering speed - open scenes do render faster. unless =) you really need that =) but then probably it's better to use daylight system - it's very flexivble, so you can get any lighting You want =)

I dont think you can change the size of the sphere, but you can change the scale of the HDRI image in Octane
