using Daz studio 4.6.1.17

Octane Render does not work.

can you give me some details please? is it not loading, or is it not rendering?

i have 4.6.1.17 installed also, and there seems to be no evident problem...

Saved in previous versions such symptoms appear in the scene.

In this case, light tabs do not work.

There is nothing in the material tab.

can you please go to your user account download area:
http://render.otoy.com/account/download_archive.php
and download and run the setup again;

in case your current plugin version is below 1.0.113.2305 this will solve the problem, in case you were already using 1.0.113.2305 and up, it might still help...

ps: sorry for asking all that questions, but in order to find out what happens (or has happened) i need as much info as possible.

pps: if you still have problems, can you pls try to wait a few seconds after ds was started (and the plugin had completed loading live db and so on), and try to load your stuff after that? maybe this has some positive effect...

Indeed, version 2320 become all work.
I did not even know that released a new version, because into downloads of account in the current version instaler signed as:
Windows 1.0 beta Installer for Daz Studio 4.5.0.114 and up 32 and 64 bit versions

But in fact there v1.0.113.2320 compatible with DAZ Studio 4.6.1.17!

And yet, write correctly: DAZ Studio

the signature is ok; the version is still 1.0 beta and meant for anything from ds 4.5.0.114 and up (including 4.6.x.x) since there is was no update to the daz sdk since this version.

the installer with 2320 is brand new and will be announced today. it is not the big update btw (this one will be 1.2.x.x), just some maintenance to the plugin, and most of all a new setup that addresses uac issues and adds additional methods to find daz studio versions installed by the dzim (since they don't provide their install location in the windows registry) - i'll post more about this version soon.
