Question to developers, Octane`s future

Hi dear Octane Gods (I`ve never said hi to God anyways),
Many users like me, are making decisions on new hardware to improve workflow.
My personal conclusion is old gtx580 is still number one (wrt price/performance although high power and cooling needs).
The question is : (How long) Will Octane full support Fermi architecture without adding misc features in Kepler architecture ?
AFAIK Kepler is a cut-down Fermi on methods and functions on GPU but I`m not a hardcore programmer.
Your answer will affect all our new hardware purchasing decisions.
Thanks in advance.
