Hi guys,

i just bought the Beta-Plugin for Blender and i already go some problems with it. If i am rotating the sun in the scene the live-render window tells me "Waiting for image" since a couple of minutes

and the picture does not update.

Second problem with rendering final images:

If i press F12 to render a final image i get the error:

Code: Select all

Octane: WARNING: only node-materials are supported
Octane: WARNING: only node-textures are supported

Hi Welti,

Does the plugin work ok with a simple cube?
The warning should not stop it rendering. It's just letting you know that there are some materials in your scene that have not been setup with a proper Octane material.

How are you rotating the sun? Are you using the octane sun direction fields?
