Help on improving internal render

Hello everyone,
I was just wondering how to make my internal render brighter than the attached image. any tips and ideas will be helpful.
I am using Archicad 16 with Octane plugin.

Hi,
Start by removing the back wall (behind the camera), or make some large openings and put light portals, or some big light planes resembling windows. And, if you can, make sunlight hit inside the room.

Others have had this problem too...
Leiurus in this topic
http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=34560 has an interesting idea that in real photography, two images are taken (one with high exposure and another with low) and then the two are blended in post. The idea is that you end up with an image that has the correct exposure for both the bright and dark parts of the scene.

put some area lights infront of the windows.

Yeah, I'd try to mimic the HDRI approach. Two images, one at low iso, one at high; take the best of both.
(but then i'd put up a caveat on the advertisement for that brackish architecture

)
