I read with interest that ver 1.5 is on it way.

Will there be additional features in revit plugin? Or will the plugin get an update?

The plugin will be updated to compile against the 1.5 Octane engine, so will get the new features. Once 1.5 become available, the plugin update should follow shortly after.
