It might sound dumb but I want to make sure I wont get stuck without Octane over the week end as I intend to play with it...

I expected the 1.20 SA / 1.2 3DsMax plug-in to overwrite the version I installed when I purchased Octane for the first time, but it didn't, I'm still under 1.18...(I just realized it because we just purchased a license for the office and obviously quite a few bugs have been fixed but I still have them home).

Can I safely uninstall both SA and Plug-in and then re-install the 1.20/1.2 without running into a license trouble? (like "this license number has already been activated, please contact our support team, bla bla bla", if you see what I mean)

Yes, you should be able to do this without trouble on windows.

On the off chance that you do have trouble, just log into the customer area of the website and click the de-activate link next to your license. This will deactivate the license so that it can be freshly re-activated again (you will need to wait 30min before attempting a re-activation so hopefully you won't need to do this).
