Hi everyone,i am having problems importing the scene to octane from 3ds max.I export my scene as .obj without changing anything, every exporting options are default,it exports without any error but when i imported my scene to octane there are less meshes than my scene.I mean if there were 10 objects in the scene(3ds max),in octane there are just 5 objects and some objects come as attached to each other,i mean when i change the colour of the one 5 objects's colours change. How to export the scene to octane to work good with. And one more question,in official site of octane it says even with mid-range graphic card we get 10-15x more power for rendering, but in which case its true i wonder,i imported 3 spheres above a plane and it took about 10min to render perfectly, when rendering the same scene with final renderer it took 1sec,can you guys give me an information about this.Waiting for reply and thanks to the creaters of this powerfull program.

Hi,
about 3DSMax, are the sphere duplicated using 'instance' or reference or are they just duplicated ? I can be the problem.
About the rendering, what material do you have on the spheres and what is the size of the plane ? Do you have units on your 3DSMax scene ? If yes, what is the size of the biggest sphere ?

Thx

These three spheres's size 30 and segments 96.Plane size is 250x250 and there is no material attached to them just a diffuse gray material nothing special and plane has same material settings.By the way i am exporting scene at 0,100 value cause its really big in octane renderer.

Have you tired giving each object a separate material in MAX ?
