2 x GTX760 Haswell Mobo?

I'm planning to build a new PC. I've bought an i7-4770K so I need a socket 1150 mobo. I have two GTX 760 4GB GPU's. I've looked at Gigabyte mobo's which I've used before but a mobo with 2 x PCIEX16 slots running at x8/x16 costs about £200 - £400! ASUS have a few cheaper mobo's but there is such a range of 1150 mobo's out there I'm not sure which is best.

I'm trying to understand the difference between the different PCIEX16 slots and what will run the two GTX760's the best. Do I need two PCIE16 slots running at x16 to get the maximum out of the GTX760 cards? I've seen cheaper mobo's with 2 x PCIEX16 slots - one running at x16 and the other at x4. Will a PCIEX16 slot running at x4 slow down a GTX 760?

I'm also not sure what power PSU to buy. As well as running the Haswell CPU the PC will power 2xGPU's and 3xHDD. Will 850W be enough? While I've built PC's before I've never had to build one with two GPU's so any advice appreciated.

So far I've found two possibilities at £116:

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H (2 x GPU at PCIEX16 x8)

ASUS Z87-A (2 x GPU at PCIEX16 x8)
