some good news in this area: i'm in touch with allessandro, and we're in first place looking for a solution to the current problem.
apart from that we are also discussing possibilities for a bridge between those two plugins - and we both would love to do that. ideally something to transfer hair geometries directly between lamh and octane, without the need to export and re-import the geometry. this way the hair geometry would not be needed in the scene at all, what'd free up a lot of daz resources also...
i'll keep you posted @ this place about progresses...

Yes this is good news!
I recently got LAMH in a 50% off sale, but haven't installed it yet on my new PC with Octane.
Looks like it was a good idea that I've been slacking

That is great news t_3! I would love to be able to use LAMH with Octane - especially if he is able to get animation working with it as well. I know it's likely a ways off, but I remain hopeful.

Sounds good T-3. I am slowly getting around to doing some creativity again, as opposed to doctors visits etc., and would love to see this happen.
All the best

I started using LAMH and couldn't get hair previews inside LAMH unless I removed the Octanerender plugin file plordazs.dll. Is there any other way to use LAMH that doesn't involve moving files in and out of Studio. I'm actually moving the plordazs.dll to the desktop and then moving it back into the plugin folder. Can I copy it to a backup folder and then just copy from backup into the DAZ plugin folder any time I need to use Octanerender? I guess it will make no difference between moving or copying it right?

Hi there,
just test the version 1.5 and that's OK, transform to fibermesh and then directly render with octane plugin. Need now the dynamic feature and that will be very good !!

I'm having serious problems with LAMH, even though I removed Octanerender like I was told the plugin crashes constantly. I hope T_3 can make Octanerender compatible with both LAMH and Garibaldi as it looks that for now I may not be able to use LAMH.
