here is my latest test with octane
Scene From Corona Render Engine alpha4 benchmark
I make this video render for study case there's no commercial purpose in this scene.
Octane Render + C4D + AE
Total render time is around 8h-9h in 1280 x 720px
DL-AO mode in dual GPU GTX680+GTX580
Music by Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard - Harvey Two-Face (ost the dark night)

I have download your scene (march, 2013) from corona-renderer.com. I tried open obj in OR Standalone 1.20 demo and all models are badly blanks. - Therefore, I respect you try new project ocs or obj.

maybe the material is black..., i open the obj in ic4d first then render it in octane render

Sorry, I can't see the video : it is pitch black except the preview thumbnails on the timeline. The music is OK.
EDIT : yesterday I updated my BitDefender Total Security antivirus from Version 2010 to 2013, and the firewall seems to prevent videos from loading. I can't find a setting allowing easy display. Even my web surf is slow. I have to disable the firewall at least some seconds to start loading a video ! I hate that.
I finally saw the video : I like much the part with the sun through the window !

ok, ADDED: your scene is wrong position in OR Standalone demo. But can you correct wrongs to modify in your obj or do you add new ocs project? - Because I don't have C4D.
