C4D Octane Plugin Buggy?

Hello everyone! I'm glad to say I'm thrilled with Octane, having tried countless, Maxwell, Indigo, Vray, etc. I'm pretty sure I will buy it soon, it is definitely worth it as a gamer too with a good GPU always. Back to my question, I'm finding the plugin for Cinema a little buggy here and there, I could post more but, arguably, this is the worst one. Whether I'm using Daylight, Area Lights, etc., I can't see any shadows, at least I see some form of it, but not the cast shadow. Beleive me, I've tried various different scenarios where shadows would be dark, nothing worked, except, if I enclose the scene in a box with a light, I seem to get a cast. I don't know, if I can't get shadows I can't use Octane, as the standalone's GUI doesn't suit me.

Shadows should definitely work with the octane render daylight system.
Make sure to add the C4dOctane Tags -> Daylight Tag, to the sun object.

Perhaps some screenshots will help us point you in the right direction.

Thanks
Chris.

I made a similar post, but in my situation, there were no shadows through transprarent objects. This was fixed in an update, but I don't know if the demo version was updated or not.
