Really nice rendering. I love the colors. Cool and clean. :D
A little more info would be nice. Background plate or cg?

Nice render ;)
Is it possible for you to show the paramaters of the car windows ?
I have a big problem with this materials. I'm not able to have clean reflection
There is one thing strange on your image. the car is moving but there is no driver.

I'm sorry for my very bad english.

Thank you all for the nice feedback.
I guess I have to correct myself.
The render was done in DL + Diffuse. I attached the settings below.

Pixelkingdom,
Backplate is a purchased one from hdri4you.
What is nice with that backplates comes with the Hdri.
I added motion blur to the hdri. Then rendered it with it.

Thanks. I guess the driver was looking for something on the floor while the render was taking place :)
As for the windshield its a pretty simple Specular material with low opacity.
The window model is a doublesided solid mesh. I guess the integration with the background and the HDRI plays a key role, always. Be aware that if not properly created, using some hdri's can be a pain. Also I used 3 extra lightplanes to enhance curves of the model. That really helped.
Apart from all that I also rendered 2 extra reflection passes. So that I can have freedom for lighting.

As for the settings, please check the images below.

Cheers,

Thanx.
i'm only using a simple plane for the glasses, maybe my problems comes from that. I have to put the "index" to 1 (otherwise it's like a magnifying glass) but because of that, there is no more reflections... it makes me crazy.
I will try your solution.
Another question, how do you make your extra reflection passes ? do you make it in octane ?
Once again thank you for your explanations ;)

Yeah avoid single sided mesh for glass.
Using index as 1 wont be correct either in real life scenarios. Octane is physically correct.
Eventhough I had to trick it with lowering the opacity. But, that also helped me to have alpha on the glass.
For the extra reflection passes I do them mannualy. Usually, In Max I have a seperate scene. And I save the materials with Scene states. Assign a black reflective material to the parts I want to use and apply another reflection. Render quick pasess. Use them in post.

I would be great if we have the override material option. Or a way to handle renderpasses.
Even for an AO pass we have to have different scenes or scenestates.

Since we don't have a render setting preset option or a way to speed up those things.
It's a pain in the .ss

Cheers,
