non-photoshop touched: render time is about 20min on a single gtx680m(maybe,i totally forgot,i always gaming when i use laptop for rendering ),the kernel is diffuse mode(although i switched to ao mode,it works pretty good, but i finally switch back to diffuse mode cuz it render so fast)

First i want to thank you guys for supporting me
I have to say sorry about No-voice recording cuz i am such a noooob,and it's hard for me to say English during recording,although I try so hard to say or using any text-voice recording,it won't work
So,I provide Subtitle to all videos so that u can understand
Many users are happy about speed up their own renderings after watching the tutorials(some users can now rendering their own scene from 5hr drops to 2hr or some from 3hr to 1hr) I am so glad that I can help you guys Thank you for giving me this opportunity again !!!!

Also, we are preparing the next season tutorials which will going to show you how to deal with heavy interior scene and speed up render work flow(Yes it's all about time )
Someone may said that Octane can't handle very large scene or will cost u too much render time(say 10hour or even more )So, I will going to say how about heavy scene this time
Please take a look at this screen shots(which still W.I.P.ing) for some random test rendering!This scene contains over 10 millions polys,render time is about 20-35min per renderings on gtx680m+gtx690 (actually I save the screen on every 10mins, almost become clean and ready to save a final images after 15min rendering, that's pretty awesome!!! i have very interested in and just want to ask did your use Direct lighting or PMC. if use PMC it is not expectable for me cos my GTX 770 render 1.3M/s .......! Thanks!

hi~~ i use Direct Lighting mode , yes PMC would only give me half samp/pix comparing to direct lighting!
if your scene has many polys , say about 90,000,000 ! u should really pay attention to your samp/pix and try to optimize them above 1.5samp/pix!!(It's very slow when u render final image of low samp/pix!)

also, if u are just a crazy photo-realistic producer you can absolutely ignore that lower samp/pix and pay more attention on how to make everything real !!:lol: but if u want the "render-war" end up very quick of u just can't wait for too long!u should optimize the scene ! I always have a short time deadline to meet! every client of mine always want the render by tomorrow ! So my main target is on how to make render quickly and looks beautifully!! so i have to forget about the "photo-realistic"

so all your tutorials are for the 3DS max plugin? and how much is the cost?

It's a surprise to see it done in one 680M within 16 minutes

I like the images shown, any chance of showing a clip of the tutorial? I just want to see the quality of the tutorials and such before I put my money down. And I suppose my only issue is that some of the material seems kinda not worth buying for. There already is a tutorial on these topics separately so how in depth do they go? How far do you take learning about IES lights or the materials? Will I learn how to create a nice wood floor, walls or rubber? And will I be able to use the knowledge to create my own materials easier? Doing advanced materials is something that really needs to be covered in Octane. For the life of me I don't know how to create a nice car paint shader without using the pre-made stuff. Which makes me feel like a woose >.>

If I could make a critique the vol.1 image isn't nearly as nice as the vol.2 image. I think the lighting is so much better in vol.2, 1 seems flat and not very dynamic and feels like it could have been pushed more in that aspect. Both are good though but 2 just seems so lovely. May be just all the lens flairs though.

PS: The optimization aspect is a really great idea. Really interested in watching that.
