I would try to render it at a higher resolution to make the highlights on the metal less pixelated (then reduce size to the desired level. This is a very common step for professionals trying to get the best quality image). Also, maybe add a little caustics blur in the kernel options (this may not do anything, but check it out) for the same reason.
Last, try to enable post processing to add bloom, this will really make those highlight on the metal look realistic.
Other than that, good use of DOF, simple scene but looks pretty cool
