long time ago i started on a new model from my good friend olivier couston .

finally done with it.. time to move on to something else

each one of those render did cook for no more than 5mn at 1600x1100 in MAYA

i plan to create a video tutorial in early July ,
where i show step by step how i use octane in maya in my work , using the she-fett as an example

very nice work... and knowing it takes quite a bit of set up to make it work inside Maya... even more impressive.

Love this. The modelling texturing is top notch, but Octane really makes it pop.

actually , i really prefer to work in octane for may a.. than the stand alone..
it allow me to dod a lot of stuff on the fly .. and easy change to my geometry ..

the main obvious issue is that it is not 100 % integrated ..
but rest assured that i would complaint and moan about it in the video :-)

thank you very much ... as a matter of fact their is close to no texture on this model..
all the scratch and dirt are a multi level layer shader driven by black and white mask :mrgreen:

Anyway, it is still a texture/material work, and the visual result is convincing. It is the most important. ;)
