This is the recommended thread for downloading, and posting any questions, suggestions or support queries for OctaneRender for ArchiCAD, build 1.16b (TEST RELEASE). This version is compiled against Octane 1.16, so see the requirements for that build regarding compatibility with your video card.

The saving of proxy information has changed, so your old scene proxy information will not load when you load the scene into ArchiCAD. As always, when the plugin's method for saving information has changed (as in this version), pls do not save to your production files whilst using this version until it has been more widely tested.

If you have a support issue, pls provide the following information:
- Operating System (ie. Win XP, Vista, 7, 8)
- 32 or 64 bit
- Amount of RAM
- Graphics Card(s) - model (ie. GTX 580, 3GB)
- Nvidia driver version
- ArchiCAD version (ArchiCAD -> Help -> License Information -> Version and Build Number
- OctaneRender for ArchiCAD version (ie. 1.02a)
- In the unlikely event of a crash, pls provide the dump report from the C:\Users\[username]\Graphisoft\BugReporting-[version] folder (on Win 7). Either post or email (to "paul at physicalc-consulting.com") the "ArchiCAD-XXXXXX-FATAL.RPT" file from this folder.

Change Log from release 1.16a4
- Fixed error being displayed when selected objects from a Section view
- Fixed minor issue when connecting/disconnecting transmission and emission pin nodes
- New option is available to copy the current material to all other materials (http://render.otoy.com/manuals/ArchiCAD/?page_id=35).
- Proxy info is now attached to the ArchiCAD Object, so if you copy and paste an Object, it's proxy info gets copied too

1) I will endevour to produce a Mac version in the next few weeks
2) Once AC17 is available (2 days time) I will compile a version of the plugin for that version of AC. Support for AC14 will be discontinued at that time.

Hi Paul,
I got this error and I lost all the linked proxies.
Do not know what happened.. I was trying to render a flythrough, but I did nothing strange.
I have got a Archicad Report and in the end it says:

User break
at line 1 in the Master script of file Auto 12 16.gsm.
Library part was not converted properly (Object-002)

Closing down the OR Setup and reopen everything is OK again.

Thanks Jeroen - I will add some info to indicate which node reference could not be found, so messages like this can be better tracked down.

OR standalone 1.16,1.17...plugin 1.13c OR for archicad..work fine at the same time
OR standalone 1.16,1.17...plugin 1.16a,b OR for archicad..dont work at the same time

plugin request reaktivation already activated standalone OR /standalone OR works/

Do you've got multiple network devices? Are both versions 64-bit versions?
